Archive > Historic Landmark Impressions

I work in a historic landmark constructed in 1876 and designed by Frank Furness and George Hewitt. Despite its ornate architecture, I've grown used to the space. I do spend 40 hours a week there, so. After my art studio caught fire I found myself without the building I had paid great attention to (see Ingrained tab) and I was generously offered an interim studio at my workplace.

This temporary home came with time restrictions and a lack of all my materials/ ongoing projects due to the fire. With these limitations I re-examined the space I found myself in- printing parts of the floor, ceiling, and air ducts of my workplace.

This project is my body trying to see what it's become accustomed to.
